Starsky grabbed the big branch and hauled himself up to the first fork of the old oak. Would he still be able to climb a tree?

 

Sweat formed on his forehead. Finally he had reached the highest level, and he looked around. What a beautiful view!

 

And look, there was Hutch coming home. “Starsk? Where are ya?” Hutch stepped out in the garden. “Starsky?”

 

Starsky heard the concern in Hutch’s voice. “Up here!” he said.

 

Hutch looked up. “Are you nuts?” he shouted.

 

Moments later he joined Starsky, panting hard.

 

“Children at heart, aren’t we?” Starsky beamed, squeezing Hutch’s hand.
